I remember first seeing cute (now a knock-out) blonde actress Taylor Momsen as a tiny "Who" in The Grinch movie years ago. This new TV season, you can catch the now-13-year-old beauty on the CW in "Gossip Girl". Taylor plays a middle class kid surrounded by rich teens in New York. Of course, she'd like to fit in but her introduction to the pop kid circle is very rough (she's the victim of attempted date rape).

When we first caught sight of young teen Taylor at a party launching the new CW shows, our mouth dropped. She looks at least 17! Maybe she's growing up too fast but we think she has a good head on her pretty shoulders so, hopefully, she won't go down the Lindsay/Paris wildchild road, at least not yet.

TeenTelevision: Is this really exciting for you to make a transition onto a show with older kids?

Taylor: Oh, it's totally a blast. I'm having so much fun. Everyone is so great. I am younger, obviously, and it's a reality check, at the end of the day, because they treat me like such an individual, which I totally appreciate and totally love. But then, they'll go out and I have to go home and do homework. [Laughs] But, it's good. I love it. Everyone's so nice.
