Actor Matt LeBlanc, star of the sitcom "Friends", has filed for divorce from former British model Melissa McKnight, his wife of three years, People Magazine reported Friday.

LeBlanc, 38, and McKnight, 41, wed in Hawaii in 2003 after a five year engagement. The split would be "amicable" for the sake of their
two-year-old daughter Marina, the actor's spokesman Joe Libonati said in a statement.

"Melissa and Matt LeBlanc have decided to end their marriage of three years," the statement read. "The dissolution is amicable. They
remain devoted parents and friends."
